Why “Highly Hated”?
Most will see the word “hated” and think it’s meant in a negative way, but Highly Hated is a positive movement. It stands for overcoming the obstacles in life and proving our doubters wrong!
Who We’re Doing This For
For the future leaders in our communities! We uplift the youth in White Center because we understand the challenges they face and are committed to providing the support they need. We get to show them they can be a vital part of making our community better. By working with these young individuals we help them build confidence, develop skills, and realize their potential to create a brighter future for everyone but more importantly, themselves!
How We’re Doing It
We empower our youth by providing mentoring, sports activities, and opportunities to volunteer and connect with leaders. Our mentoring program at our local middle school and basketball team offer guidance and positive activities for them. We host various events throughout the year where they can give back, such as “Feed the Streets” which provides meals to anyone in need, and “What’s Up White Center” which connects them with our community leaders.

Mentoring youths in our community is important because it helps them grow personally and professionally, boosts their confidence, and gives them guidance. By supporting and encouraging young people, we help them deal with challenges and make better choices. The connections we make with them inspire positive behavior, improve their chances in school and work, and strengthen community ties, leading to a stronger and more vibrant society.
Feed the Streets
Join us for "Feed the Streets" in White Center, where we prepare and distribute free meals with the help of teen volunteers.
